Steven Novack from the Idaho National Laboratories has created an inexpensive solar panel that may turn out to be up to 80% efficient.The material surface is printed with nano-antennae that capture infra-red radiations.
The material is simple to create, but at the moment there is no way to capture the energy that is being created.
